At Bobbi’s Boot Boutique, I offer professional hoof boot fittings – both in person and virtual – to help you choose the right boot for your horse’s comfort, protection, and day – to – day use. I primarily work with Scoot Boots, but I also offer Easy Care and other brands when they’re a better match for your horse’s hoof shape and lifestyle.
IN PERSON SCOOT BOOT FITTINGS
An In- person Scoot Boot fitting ensures your horse gets the most accurate fit for comfort, performance, and hoof health. During your appointment, I bring various sizes in all three Scoot Boot styles; classic, slim, and the adjust, so your horse can be properly assessed and fitted on – (The Theraride boots are fitted using the adjust fitting boot)
Service Area & Pricing
- I provide mobile fitting services within two hours of Downsville, NY.
- The fitting fee is $50
- Travel fees apply to any location over one hour from Downsville, NY.
- If I trim your horse at the time of the fitting, the fitting fee is only $30. (this does not include trim fee)
Virtual Scoot Boot Fittings
Virtual Scoot boot fittings are a convenient option for clients who are outside my travel area or prefer to fit from home. This service allows me to help you find the correct scoot boot size and style using photos, measurements and detailed guidance – all done remotely.
How a virtual fitting works:
- Contact me first- to begin a virtual fitting, you will call, text or email me and let me know you would like a virtual fitting
- Photo& Measurement instructions– I will then send you a video that will walk you through how to take proper hoof photos and measurements. You will send me the photos via email or text.
- Deposit & Review- Once you send me your correct photos and measurements, I collect a $100 deposit.
- $75 of that deposit goes toward your Scoot Boot purchase
- The full $100 deposit is non refundable if:
I provide you with the correct fit and you choose not to purchase, or you purchase elsewhere using my sizing work.
4. Fitting boots sent to you- I then mail you multiple fitting boots and send a video showing you how the boots should fit properly.
5. You try the boots on your horse:

- take and send pictures and videos to me
6. Final size decision and Boot Order- together we determine the best size and style for your horse.
- you return fitting boots to me
- Your Scoot Boots and accessories if you choose any are shipped to you.
Trim Requirements
- A fitting must be done within two weeks of a fresh trim to ensure the most accurate sizing and best performance .
- If your horse’s trim is not suitable for scoot boots, I will clearly advise you before proceeding.
